More students are becoming more aware of sexual assault and the immense impact it has on every college campus. In Boston, students are creating and joining more clubs and getting involved in changing the culture. Sexual assault has shifted to an uncomfortable topic to something everyone is taking precautions on. In the past few years, on campus rape as heightened not because the act occurs more but due to more open discussions and awareness to it. The Boston Globe interviewed local college organizations in order to see what these students are saying about the increase of anti-sexual assault action on their campus. I thought this article did a great job of publishing more than facts, as a mainstream article I was impressed with their addition of individualism.
